Japan Pilgrimage II Day 10 - Guest Blogged by 浪迹天涯小狗

Warning: Image relatively intensive..

No, these are NOT ME!
Mistress simply forgot to take a peek of me today!! o(>< )o o( ><)o

Birdy had a morning flight to catch and whilst she was trying her best to be quiet going about her morning activities, Mistress (the light-sleeper) woke up and was staring at her running about under the blankets...

HAHA.

Despite Birdy's protests, Mistress and RR got up, changed, and sent her to Ikebukuro Station with the cold wind blowing, where we bidded her goodbye before trudging back to bed.

Was probably a couple of hours later before we step out of the apartment again, luggages in tow, and fearing for our lives as we pulled (literally) the huge bags down the metal staircase with one hand, umbrella in the other. Either we'll slip on the metal staircase or we'll be pulled down by gravity with the heavy luggage crushing us as we make our tumble down the stairs.

Thankfully neither happened.

Deposited the bags into our last room for the remainder of the trip while the owner was still doing the tidy-up and braved the rain and wind for even more shoppings.

Decided to have our brunch at Vie De France, one of the couple of bakeries at Ikebukuro Station. Absolutely yums with thumbs and toes up!

Mistress's i-cannot-remember-what-the-burger-stuffed-with-black-pepper-beef-and-veggies-is-called and tea.

Yummy Yummy! Beef, broccolli, lettuce, cheese~

RR's "Ang Pow"

Ok, we renamed it. It was some apple-cheese-cream-thing-thing. RR adores it to bits!

The 2 animals headed over to Tokyo Dome City via JR Suidobashi for one motive..

SHONEN JUMP SHOP!!

Shonen Jump shop with Tokyo Dome peeping in the background.

It was raining like the whole Indian Sea was poured onto Japan, threatening to either upflip the animals' umbrellas or give Mistress a kiss of the floor.

Tokyo Dome.
Mistress didn't venture around taking pictures as the weather was too horrid to be using the DSLR with umbrella at the same time.

Jump Shop (Mistress: WoO HOo!~~)

The standing displays of Katekyo Hitman Reborn.
Mukuro looks to be placed anyhow-ingly..

Mistress was only willing to get out of Jump Shop after a couple of 10,000 yen notes decides to migrate themselves from her pocket and a big bag of merchandises was passed to her.

Part of a long stretch of river that passes through many districts in Tokyo.

Went over to Tokyo Station and got lost in the maze of passages. The animals had to ask the information counter located at the Tokyo Railway Station building, who were amazingly well-informed and could know what we were looking for in an instant and able to guide us there accurately! Kudos~

Tokyo Station Character Street, where cute mascot goodies galore.

Of cos, there's a Jump Shop there as well.

Parked ourselves at a random restaurant in Tokyo Station for some energy replenishing.

RR's i-dunno-what-soba+tama-don.

Mistress's dunno-what-seasonal-veggies-tsukemen-thingy.

The owner had a rather cute personality and was teasing the customers as they were being led to their seats. He asked us where we hail from and subsequently began throwing english at us. The animals finished their meals and the owner brought us a pot of soup for us to mix with the soba sauce, saying that it will make their skins radiant and what not. Interesting!

Passed by Akihabara on our way back.

As it was still pretty early, we ventured the east side of Ikebukuro, where Sunshine 60 stands, and roamed around the huge mall + connecting annexes.

Basically, we dun really noe where we're walking!

Chanced upon Namco Namja Town situated within Sunshine City and was seduced to enter by Sebastian.

Sebastian of Kuroshitsuji, that is.

The main mascot of Namja Town

The indoor park is divided into several sections, like Ghost Street, Ice Cream City, Gyoza Stadium, etc. The ghost street did have the creepy atmosphere even thou the mascot is pretty cute.

Gyoza Stadium entrance, with loads of gyoza varieties from all over.

Sebastian & Ciel, which the animals had began calling them 緣分 cos RR had wanted to buy the nendoroid versions of both of them but all we saw from the start of the trip was either the shop had Sebastian only or Ciel only.

All the mascots at one place. The UFO machine!

Gyoza Stadium.

The full package consists of an adventure thru the park, with missions to complete and stamps to collect. We only took the walking tix as it was nearing closing time.

This area seems like the 臺灣故事舘 in Taiwan.

Ghost Street area

The Ghost Street mascot! A cute cat spirit~

Mononoke-tama is his name.

Discovered these Hakuoki display stands at one isolated area with a couple of girls taking numerous photos with them. RR went over to join in the fun. Keke.

Ice Cream Museum

This looks like another hentai act.

Sebastian's Tea Room! The animals definitely wun miss this.

The 1:1 scale of Sebastian, thou just a piece of standing cardboard.

The store prohibits photography as there's a display wall of the various scene cuts from the anime, some with autographs as well, apart from the Kuroshitsuji merchandises and a cafe corner.

An Einstein-looking gadget

The park features a 2 storey auditorium/clock/whatever-i-dunno, complete with intricate statues and carvings.

Dancing skeleton.
Nahh, Mistress was going down the escalator when she took this.

Took the long walk back, noticing the bright lights and life over at the East side of Ikebukuro compared to the West side where we stayed.

Got some convenience grub again. Onigiris were out of stock and had to settle for a small don.

But one thing to note, their convenience stores really sell some good stuff!

Summary for today seems to be.. JUMP SHOP!~ Haha!
